Andra Day "Rise Up" Virtual Production

While the holiday season looks different this year, Bloomingdale's held a virtual benefit featuring performance by singer and songwriter Andra Day.

During her performance she took viewers on a virtual escape with her hit song “Rise Up” in an animated montage of New York City in which I had the opportunity to work as a 3D Generalist on a virtual production, in collaboration with a New York based experiential studio.
With that being clarified, I posted my visuals and animation rendered in Unreal Engine 4. Since I’m not having a full video from the shooting yet, I’m posting just a scratch from Andra’s live performance. Also, bellow you can find a test video linked from my YouTube channel showing the visuals being filmed with a real studio camera!

During the shooting, the singer is actually standing in front of the green screen while the cameras are tracked inside UE4 where the visuals were projected in real-time.

So far one of the most interesting projects I worked on.
